• Article is a work that combines with houn and defines whether a houn in any sentence or phares is a specific or general.

* Example:-

• In this sentence the use of article " The" specific the one day that was tiring day and that one's specific the cup of tea refrish mind and body.

* What are the types of article in english grammar.?

• There are two types of article.

1. Definite article

* Rules of article with example:-

Definite article "The"

• Among the three articles "The" is said to be the definite article.

• A definite article is used to determine something that is specific or particular.

•The very basic rule of article says of the article "The" is used before signature it indicates a particular thing or person in the sentence.

*Example 

•The teacher she spoke in the exhibition was very rude.

•He lost all the money taken from the lender

• Article The is used when the listener knows what the speaker is copying about.

Example:-

• The manager you keept in the refrigerator last night do not taste good.
• DID you complete all the homework.

•    " The" is used in to generalize the whole class and group.

* Indefinite Articles: “A” and “An”

A and An are called indefinite articles.

They are used when we talk about a person or thing, but we don’t say exactly which one.

Rules for A

Rule 1

We use “A” before a word that starts with a consonant sound.

Example:

A man is sitting on the chair.

A one-rupee note. (Here “one” begins with the sound of w, so we use a.)

Rule 2

We use “A” before a singular noun that begins with a consonant.

Examples:

A pen

A bench

A cupboard

A = before consonant sounds (b, c, d, f, g, etc.)

An = before vowel sounds (a, e, i, o, u).

Indefinite Article: “An”

Rule 1

We use “An” before a singular noun beginning with a vowel sound (a, e, i, o, u).

We also use “An” before a singular noun that begins with a consonant letter but is pronounced with a vowel sound.

Examples:

an honest man (the “h” is silent, so it starts with the vowel sound o)

We use “An” before short forms of degrees or titles (because they start with a vowel sound when spoken).

Examples:
